How can I become a doctoral student?
The National Doctoral Council (ODT) provides up-to-date information on doctoral programmes. Please consult the list of current topics on the website and select the research topic that best matches your interests. Then, contact the instructor/researcher who posted the topic.
In accordance with the Doctoral Regulations of the University of Pannonia, the conditions for applying for doctoral training must be announced twice a year in the form of a call for applications (September-January, February-August). Prior to the beginning of each semester, the University of Pannonia announces admissions (and supplementary admissions) for its PhD programs. Please refer to the webpage below for detailed information about the doctoral schools offering the programmes, the application procedure, deadlines, and admission requirements. Ensure you meet the necessary requirements and familiarise yourself with the application process in full.
Following a careful review of the application submitted, the admissions committee of the chosen doctoral school will invite the applicant for a personal (or online) interview. During the conversation, the applicant's professional background, research ideas, and motivation will be assessed. Subsequent to a thorough review of the discussion, the committee will make a recommendation to the University Doctoral and Habilitation Council (UDHC) of the University. The doctoral school will provide information about the exact date and format of the interview
On successful admission, students may enrol in the doctoral programme during the period specified by the University of Pannonia. The Directorate of Academic Affairs' staff will provide detailed information on the necessary documents for enrolment, the relevant deadlines, and the subsequent steps.
